It’s Time to Retire - Where Will You Do It?

The time has finally come to retire and start enjoying a free life.  One where you can go where you want and do what you want, any time of the day like you were a kid again.  But where will you choose to spend your retired days? 

Many retirees choose warm sunny places to pick up and relocate to.  Therefore, I would like to take a moment to share Lake Havasu City for the 55+ set with anyone that's getting ready to retire or that has already retired.

There are two types of retirees that make up Lake Havasu City: the Snowbirds and the permanent residents. 

The Snowbirds are retirees that have come looking for a warm alternative to the bitter cold of the state they reside in for the rest of the year.  The permanent residents are the ones who have found that they love Lake Havasu's climate and found that it works for them all year round.

Lake Havasu City and its wonderful suburbs of Sun Lakes Village, Lakeride Estates, Havasu Heights, Desert Hills and Foothills Estates all make wonderful communities to own a home in.  There are also great communities nearby, such as Bullhead City, Kingman and the beautiful golf community of Valle Vista for homeownership.

Lake Havasu City is home to the world-famous London Bridge and the area is an absolute outdoor lover's dream.  It's a playground for watersports and desert enthusiasts everywhere.  Whatever your outdoor activity choice is: golfing, boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, camping, hiking, backpacking, you'll find it here.  And the weather is perfect in Lake Havasu City year-round.

So the question is, when it comes time for you to retire, where will you do it?
