I feel as though I'm etching a tally on the stone wall interior of my jail cell.

I know that sounds gloomy, but I also know that the process to become a successful real estate investor is going to be arduous. This first blog post marks "Day 1" - it's the first day that I actually take a step towards improving my financial situation by particpating in the Real Estate market.

I'm going to spend probably the next few months absorbing as much knowledge as I possibly can on the subject before actually getting my feet wet. Luckily, I found BiggerPockets. I know that the wealth of knowledge on here, be it from experts in the field or links to articles, will push me in the right direction.

Goals for October 25, 2013:

- Develop a confident understanding of the basic terminology surrounding Real Estate investing.

- Develop a better understanding of Wholesaling

- Read through the entire Beginner's Guide

- Read through the entire Wholesaling Thread

- Attend at least one

  1. **- Attend at least one REIA club meeting for networking and educational purposes. Thanks for the heads up @Joshua Dorkin - it makes it look more officially like Day 1

    1. Sure thing!

  2. Do it, Sam Kronenberg! Sounds like a good plan of attack. That said, it looks like you didn't quite complete the post . . . perhaps an edit to add the rest would work! Good luck....
