The Great Reno Balloon Race
The Great Reno Balloon Race takes place September 10-12, 2010. Held annually the weekend after Labor Day, The Great Reno Balloon Race takes place at the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park and is absolutely free to the public. In addition to the colorful hot air balloons, there will be food vendors, crafts booths, art, souvenirs and music for everyone to enjoy. The schedule of events for the Great Reno Balloon Race are as follows:
Friday, September 10
6:00 am to 9:00 am - Bed Head Competition registration at the Pajama Party Tent
6:45 am - Wells Fargo Mass Ascension Launch, off-field competition
7:30 am to 10:00 am - Other on-field competitions
9:30 am - EL Cord Foundation Tissue Paper Balloon Launch, Rancho San Rafael Park

5:00 am - Glow Show
5:00 am to 8:00 am - Bed Head Competition registration at the Pajama Party Tent
5:00 am to 10:00 am - Pajama Fest 2010, the world's largest Pajama Party at the Pajama Party Tent

Pajama Fest 2010 is touted as the world's largest pajama party. Keep your PJs on, don't touch that hair, just come on down to the Great Reno Balloon Race and show us your morning looks at the Pajama Fest. The Bed Head Competition has several categories for you to compete in. If you pre-register for the Bed Head Competition online at RenoBalloon.com, you will receive a free gift when you sign in at the Pajama Fest tent.
