Halloween Fun in Anchorage

Are you looking for some Halloween fun in Anchorage?  There are plenty of fun things to do for all the ghouls and goblins.  Here's a list of some spooky Halloween fun you might enjoy:

October 23, 2010:
Fall Carnival
- Anchorage Museum (625 C Street), 10:00am - 6:00pm.  Wear your Halloween costume to the museum for a day of spooky stories, pumpkin painting, carnival games and more!  The Fall Carnival is free with the price of admission to the museum.  However, the carnival games do take tickets at an additional price.  These are available at the event.

October 29, 2010:
Haunted Trails
- Goose Lake Park (2811 UAA Drive), 4:00pm - 8:00pm.  Fun for everyone!  Games, kids activities, face painting, storytelling and a haunted trail are just a few of what's in store when you show up at Goose Lake Park.  There's even a pumpkin patch on-site.  Just make sure the little ones are in their Halloween best.

October 30, 2010:
Trick or Treat Street
- The 4th Avenue Market (333 W Fourth Ave), 2:00pm - 5:00pm.  Bring your costumed kids to downtown Anchorage to go trick-or-treating in a fun, safe environment.  Enjoy games and prizes after gathering treats from local merchants.  Pick up your very own Halloween stamp map.  Each merchant visited will stamp the map.  For every completed map turned in, you will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes.

Harvest Festival - Salvation Army Safe Campus (1712 A Street), 1:00pm - 4:00pm.  Want a safe alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating?  Play games, decorate pumpkins, get some candy, join in on a costume contest and much more here.

VivaVoom Brr-Lesque's Sinister Seduction- Tap Root (3300 Spenard Road), 8:00pm to 2:00am.  Some Halloween fun for the adults!  Enjoy live music, dancing, comedy, drinks, costume and boobie prizes.  Cocktail hour is from 8:00 to 9:00 and is then followed by a DJ dance party.  Tickets can be purchased at Tap Root.

If you want to enjoy some Halloween fun in Anchorage, these are a few of the events that may fit your plans.  There's fun for all ages available.  No matter what you do, have a fun and safe Halloween!
