Hollywood Comes to Hammond

It's official!  Hollywood has come to Hammond.  Over the next couple of weeks, Dark Horse Pictures will be filming in the area and using our beloved City of Hammond as the backdrop for its new sci fi/paranormal thriller "Seconds Apart".  In fact, approximately 2/3 of the movie will be filmed here in the Hammond area, with the rest of the filming taking place in New Orleans.  While the actors are from out of town, some of the construction crew is comprised of local workers.  In addition to scenes being filmed in the downtown Hammond area, some scenes will be shot in nearby Ponchatoula.  "Seconds Apart" is about twin teenage boys with supernatural powers who live in present-day Louisiana and stars, amongst others, actor Orlando Jones.  Let's show them what southern hospitality is all about by welcoming Hollywood to Hammond with open arms.
