I think I'm in love

About a month ago my boss encouraged me to get onto this Real Estate blogging website called Bigger Pockets. I told him blogging was for suckers with too much time on their hands. Little did I know that I would be spending all my free time plus car time listening to bigger pockets podcasts and ordering new books on flipping houses by J Scott.

I've always wanted to own Real Estate but have been too afraid. It's like the girl at the bar who flirtatiously glances in your direction but you can never muster up the courage to go give it a shot. Bigger pockets has given me the courage to walk up to that girl and buy her a drink. J/k, but seriously BP has given me the motivation and zeal to want to actually pursue Real Estate.

Thus Far I have set out some plans for 2014:

Get my TN Real Estate License

Buy 10 rental properties

Fix and Flip @ least one house

Buy a live-in 4-plex to rehab and resell

So far, I have written down my goals and am working on a business plan. I hope to hit the ground running with presenting my financing goals to friends, family, investors, lenders, private lenders, and if needed; hard money.
