The Start of a New Journey

(First post, take 2!)

I just wrote a couple paragraphs and the website decided to error out and not post it.  So here we are again!

I just got finished reading 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad'.  It reinforced a lot of the theories I already had running around in my head.  The main one is; you need to make your own money, working for someone else isn't the path to becoming wealthy.  

Don't get me wrong, I love my job and I love the people I work with.  But the fact of the matter is, the only one benefiting from my hard work and dedication is my boss/owners of the company.  If my company makes it big and becomes successful(which it is...), will I see any sort of benefit other than just staying employed? Other than a pat on the back, probably not.

So here I am.  Planning out the first steps to a new future.  My current(long term) goal is to establish a process to start rehabbing in my area and then buy some rental property.
