• Scotch Marine Boilers

The Scotch Marine Boiler, a fire-tube boiler, allows hot flue gases to pass through tubes installed inside a water tank. Its overall scheme is that of a squat horizontal cylinder. One or more big cylindrical furnaces are installed within the lower portion of the boiler shell. Above this are numerous small-diameter fire-tubes.
