Window A/C Unit Installation

Today we installed a window A/C unit. I'm attempting to be more hands off when it comes to repairs at our properties, but after watching a YouTube video on how to install a Window A/C unit, we decided to install the window A/C unit ourselves. I've had a couple of wall A/C units installed in the past and I've hired someone to do the job because it requires breaking a hole in the wall etc….

I was amazed at how incredibly easy it was to install the window A/C. Only problem I see is that its incredibly easy to break in to the room by simply cutting the plastic that shields the window. I'm considering creating a some guardrails to place around the A/C unit to both protect the A/C unit and defer someone who might want to break into the room.
