The Journey of Closing...

So  I have a bit of an update since my last post. I found a property that I wanted and used a different offer strategy that I used with previous properties. I offered full asking price for the property. Previous properties I offered below asking price because that's what I thought I was suppose to do. While I've been very patient in finding a property, I've gotten to the point that once I found a property I wanted, I would offer full asking price if the price was within  my threshold. And my offer got accepted on the first full asking price I offered!

So now I'm going through the journey of the closing process. Describing it as a journey is an understatement. This is my first property, so I'm trying to take it step by step. What I wanted to talk about today was the fear. I spoke about this before in one my posts, but the fear came back with guns blazing! While I'm working with many people to help me purchase this property, when I hit a few obstacles, I had so many excuses and reasons why I should give up flood my head.

I've found that my research of real estate really paid off. Not only did I learn about the numbers, but the emotions of investing as well. This has helped me recognize that these excuses are just symptoms of the fear and it is natural. So I will push forward and clear any hurdles that come my way! Excited for the journey!
