Do it yourself SEO tips, from our experience.

Do it yourself SEO tips, from our experience.

BY MORRY EGHBAL

This blog is for Realtors and Investors who want their properties get visibility on the Search engines.

When we launched our site: successorsdata.com, we were bombarded with tons of people who wanted to come and charge us thousands of dollars to do SEO, search engine optimization for Google or other search engines such as Yahoo, Bing etc.

I decided to educate and learn as much as I can first. I talked to many people and interviewed experts.

Then, I took a social marketing class at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. At the end of the eight hours period, I left with a dozen new information I did not know before.

So this is how we used the new found information to direct more web traffic to our site.

We took away the "Q&A" page from our website and changed it to a BLOG post, with RSS Feed to the search engines. It has paid us good dividends.

If you are a Realtor consider designing your web site with this structure.

One main page with your contact information and 7 or 8 of your listings on the main page.

Add a Word Press Blog to your webs site. Let each blog post be a listing of yours. Post every listing you ever had and give it a title and description active or sold or pending makes no difference, if you did it get credit for it. On the title, make sure you write the Zip Code and the City. Think as if you are telling everything about a property to a person who can not see. That is the search Engines. They only see what you write.

Learn how to use the different elements of the blog features to your best advantage. Your title is like the Penthouse, but the description is like the garage. You have to treat the value of each elements with search engines criteria in mind.

You be amazed. In less than 24 hours, those listing will be in the search engines.

This was the tip number one.

To give you an example.

Please visit our blog at www.successorsdata.com and you will notice how we take the weekly issues and create a blog post out of them, not just for our subscribers but for Search Engines as well.

If  you are a Realtor, your blog post is your listings. I give you another idea. If you don't have enough listings, ask one of the agents in your office to let you advertise his/her listings on your blog post to find buyers for it. Even offer to write their info in the descriptions, what you are looking is web traffic.

Next I want to show you how to create a what we call a digital business card. Not just an image, a lot more than that.
