Weds Dec 17 update

Has been a very hectic weekend and days since last post. I am still trying to deal with a financial crisis that has come up, that has taken my time and attention away from BP and my commitments.

Nevertheless, each day this week I've managed to play one BP podcast and jot down some key points I see from each one. These podcasts are from the BP Blog Post "5 Episodes to Inspire Wannabe Wholesalers to Action."

Episode 010 - JScott Flipping Episode

- It's a good idea to get a RE license for a number of reasons, including learning about the industry and having access to lots of restricted information.

- Hire out as much of your business operations as you can, this will free you up to focus on lead generation and negotiation.

- Compartmentalize the management of your business to suit individuals' strengths.

Episode 011

- Was a good overview and put me to thinking that I should put more thought into an area I want to focus on, before blindly dedicing that I want to "be a wholesaler".

Episode 012 - Wholesaling with Sharon Vornholt

- Building a network takes time, but will produce excellent results and make business run more smoothly.

Episode 018 - Flipping with Danny Johnson

- Hire out all the contracting work - don't fudge the numbers by using yourself as free labor to turn a so-so deal into a better deal on paper.

 - Learn how to do accurate ARV estimates.

- Use all types of marketing, even the yellow pages.

That's all I have time for today.
