Brazos Valley Cajun Fest

Get ready for a fantastic day full of live entertainment, competitions, and really really good food! Whether you want to show off your cooking skills or just want relax and enjoy some Cajun culture, come out and spend some time with your community. There is entertainment for everyone and you will want to be a part of this historical first year festival!

- Live Cajun music: Charles Thibodeaux & the Austin Cajun Aces
- Indoor and outdoor vendors
- Car and bike show (participants and observers)
- Jambalaya and gumbo cook off (participants and tasters)
- Cajun cooking classes
Car show:
Don’t be shy! Bring out your fancy car or just go and talk with some fellow car fanatics.
- Registration if you are entering a car is the day of the event and the fee is $10
- The gates will open at 6:30am
- Judging will be at 1pm and trophies will be at 3pm!
- You can exit at 4pm
Cook Off
This is cajun food galore! Go get your fill or show off what you got! The more Cajun food the better. Here are the rules of the event if you are entering.
- Food must be cooked from scratch
- Must be cooked on site
- All ingredients must be added in raw form
- Must be cooked in the open
- Bring propane stove and fuel or generator, cooking pots, serving utensils, tables, chairs, and water for prep and clean up and serving cups for attendees.
