17th Annual Bryan/College Station 5k Fun Run!

On Saturday April 11th, the 17th Annual Bryan/College Station Regional Association of REALTORS 5k Fun Run/Walk is taking place at Wolf Pen Creek, located at 1015 Colgate Drive in College Station. The run is held to help Payless Shoes gain funds, in order to gift children in need with shoes for school. If you love running, then this fundraiser is for you.

Sometimes we can become so accustomed to necessities, that we forget how privileged we are to have them. Can you imagine having to worry about going to school barefoot? As a community, we should not become complacent of the needs of children less fortunate than ours. The 17th Annual Fun Run is a time for the community to gather together and help our neighbors who are less fortunate.

The price is only $18 dollars, but if you register before March the 27th, an additional $3 dollars will be taken off! Not only do you get to run to benefit underprivileged kids in the community, you will also be provided with a T-shirt if you sign up before the deadline.

The B/CS Regional Association of REALTORS 17th Annual 5K Run/3K Walk for Shoes is not only for adults, kids are welcomed to join! Are you an amateur runner, or just prefer walking? The Fun Run is meant to include people at all levels of fitness; anyone can join! The race gets bigger and bigger within the community every year. Invite your friends, family, and co-workers to come celebrate fitness, while benefiting the community by providing kids with the necessities every child deserves.

Sign in starts at 7:30 am, and the race begins at 8:30 am. The deadline for early registration is Friday, March the 27th. For more information or register, click here
