Why not use a Self Directed IRA

Self Directed IRAs have been around for 40 years yet few investors are using them to obtain assets such as Real Estate and Precious metals to grow their savings at a higher rate of return - tax free. I think this is because many people just don't know about them.

  1. Bill, that a good question. I don't see a reason why not. SD IRA put you in control. But I guess some people are not comfortable with that so for them that might be the reason why not.
