Bully Lenders

What's with looking at every scrap of paper? I went under contract in late February. I was told NOT to file my taxes for 2014. On 4/10, my lender gave the green light to file. On 4/13, he send me docs that included an affidavit that I had NOT filed. We missed closing on 4/10 because of lender reviews. Amend-extend to 4/17. At 7pm yesterday the money boys emailed my loan broker, demanding my 2014 returns. And we had to go to a notary a 2nd time b/c they didn't like the corrections performed by the 1st notary. Today they wanted my W2 forms. 

We're in the "excellent" credit category, and have very low ratios. My broker said they're "picky", but they're not. They're insane.
