It was a freezing cold January morning and my husband and I were chatting over a cup of coffee, discussing our plans for the weekend. Being indoors was the only requirement and we found ourselves with a lot more options than the usual fall back of a movie. We could tour some properties. We could check out Kane county's latest offerings at the flea market, or listen to a free concert at the library. Explore the Heritage Museum or see what's going on at the Steel Beam Theater. Get lunch and watch the game at Rookies? Or maybe bowling and arcade time with the kids? That's when we realized how much we enjoy our Fox Valley small town amenities.
