Alabama Tax Auction Dates

Most counties in Alabama have their tax auctions at approximately the same time each year.  Shelby, the wealthiest county, will always kick off the season with its auction in late March.  Montgomery, location of the State capital, will always end the season in early June.  A county that had its tax auction on the first Tuesday in May of 2017, will probably have the next one on the first Tuesday in May of 2018.

You can download a copy of the 2017 auction dates for all Alabama counties. The list is sorted alphabetically by county and then chronologically by auction date.  It will help you anticipate the approximate dates of the 2018 auctions.
