The One Thing

I just received The One Thing in the mail (thank you Amazon Prime) and I am looking forward to reading it.  It has been mentioned many times on the Bigger Pockets podcast as being a favorite book of many investors.  So far, as far as real estate / business books go, I have read "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor", I am re-reading the E-Myth Revisited, and perhaps my favorite book of all time that is not necessarily related to real estate is "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People ( probably read it about 5 times or so).

I have my local resource (my Father-in-Law) in Milwaukee making calls to brokers on some properties to try to get more info and maybe do some tours.  Doing analysis everyday has helped me find some cash-flowing properties that I know I wouldn't have found by just skimming Redfin.  One property I am looking at looks very nice and is in a very nice part of Milwaukee.  I use extremely conservative numbers when I do my analysis and it still cash flows at about 75.00 per door, which isn't a lot, but its something and its a start.

I continue to meet new people on BP and get advice from everywhere.  Its really a wonderful resource.  Well it's the weekend so I won't be working two hard, have a great Sunday and I'll be all over this place next week!
