Professional photos on your Real Estate Listing

In today's video, I discuss the importance of having high quality images associated with your listing. As I look for homes for sale for my clients and look for properties for myself, I run into multi-million dollar homes in the Hamptons being advertised to the general public with very poor quality photos. Failure to have high quality images in today's real estate market automatically hinders the property from properly being showcased.

Understand that when you put your house on the market for sale, whether with a real estate agent or as a For Sale by Owner (FSBO), the photos you present to the marketplace are important because 93-95% of buyers are looking on the internet before they ever get in their car to come look at a property. The photos will be the first thing the buyer sees and will be a determining factor when deciding if they want to tour your home.

If you have your house for sale now, ask yourself these questions?

1. What is and how is the quality of the image? Would I buy my house looking at these photos?
2. What camera was used, what equipment was used? If I used my iPhone, the quality may not be sufficient.

Here are a few good tips to have great photos:

1. schedule photo session on a day with a lot of natural light
2. stage the house for photos - move furniture and clean up the house
3. Take a lot of photos and then analyze and choose the best ones
