Diving into Wholesaling

A few months back I was browsing through instagram when I saw someone post a motivational picture than talked about how he was able to achieve everything he has including financial freedom through real estate. Now like most people I always had the notion that in order to get into real estate you needed alot of financial backing. I dug further into this gentleman from instagram and it turned out that he suggested people begin with wholesaling because it has a low cost of entry and anyone can do it. That was a criteria I fit. I purchased the e-book and read it immediately in one sitting. (Which I regret now with all the great info on BP!) I thought to myself that this was very possible. This was something I can do while still maintaining my full time job.

Fast forward to now, due to some unforeseen situations, I couldn't tackle wholesaling head on like I wanted to when I first read the e-book. But now I have a plan in place with a small list of cash buyers. Sending out my first direct mailing campaign to absentee owners this week and thanks to some great people I've connected with through the forums I am close to finding a title company that works with wholesalers.

I plan on documenting and writing about my journey along the way. Some articles I've read here on BP talk about how hard and difficult wholesaling really is. And while that may be true. It is worth giving a shot. It is all a numbers game and persistence is key. All I know is that I am looking forward into this new journey I am pursuing and seeing where it takes me.

  1. You can read the wholesaling article here or watch the blogs on it. Write down and follow the steps with some advice from professionals and you should be fine.

Get the professionals in place though like the title company and the buyer and the agent if you need someone to hold  your hand through the whole process.

  2. wholesale is somethsomething I also wanted to start first. There is a single family house for sale next door that im really considering using as my first wholesaler project. The problem is i dont have the fund or the knowledge to go about doing it. I figure i still have more to read and learn before i jump into it. Just a little indecisive right now.
