What have I been doing these last 3 years?

So... Best laid plans, yadda yadda.. Hi BP, it's been a while.  But, in my defense, I've been doing stuff.  Hit a lull in my ability to move further for a bit, so turned to education.  Started listening to the podcast again and have taken some notes on what I'll want to look for when I get started again.  So what have I been doing?

March 8, 2018 - Lost my job.

March 30, 2018 - closed on a triplex in Cleveland.

June 2018 - finished repairs

August 2018 - bought a triplex in Cleveland using solo 401k money

March 2019 - cashout refi first triplex

May 2019 - buy a duplex in Cleveland using refi money.

Whew.  Looking back at it all, it's been a busy 18 months.  But, I have the bug.  I am going to keep this going and grow my portfolio into something I can use to retire on.  There have been lots of lessons (expensive, painful ones), but that's part of the growing.  And I'm all about growing right now.  Knowledge, the portfolio, my passive income streams.. I'm past where I could truly FIRE, but I know I can do it before my kids graduate high school.  That's the goal.
