Dry Spell is Over!

I have been in a very long "dry spell". By long, I mean several years. Although I still have some rentals, I haven't done any new deals for quite some time. I had started to wonder if I even should still be involved in real estate.

Then, a couple of months ago, my belief in myself was restored. A wholesaler emailed me and told me about a deal he had. He said the leader of our networking group had told him to call me. This has never happened to me before! I have had the usual email blasts like everyone else, but never had anyone contacted me directly like that. 

I am a spiritual person, so I don't want this to sound all "woo woo" or anything, but this was definitely divine intervention. The very day before this happened, I had been talking with a friend about this "blockage" I was having in my real estate investing. I am very passionate about real estate, and I feel that a passion this strong for something can only be from the very One who created me. We went through a process during our time together. The very next morning was when I had that email waiting for me. I immediately knew that this was a sign of something great to come. 

I viewed the property, did my due diligence, and all the numbers looked very good. I had a friend from our networking group that had been talking to me about partnering on a fix-and-flip, so I called him up. We are scheduled to close on the purchase on April 22.

It feels so good to be working on a deal again!
