Creating a Basement Apartment! - Day 1

Greetings Bigger Pockets!  Over the years I have found an EXTREMELY profitable style of investing. The basement apartment.  Sounds fairly straight forward right?  Well....maybe.  But it really doesn't have to be.  Creating a LEGAL basement apartment can add some SERIOUS equity to a property in a short period of time.  It can also bring your monthly cashflow up to a much higher level. You can actually flip properties quite easily by adding legal apartments and then selling to other investors.  I've found it to be the easiest type of 'flip'.  But I prefer to call it 'developing' a property.  Anyhow....follow along and see how I evaluate a property and attack the basement.  These are in depth, QUALITY renovations.
