Contractor Pro Tip: Watering new stucco

Pro tip: when putting new stucco over an existing home that has a block surface for example, make sure to wet the stucco with a hose once a day for the first 5 days. No need to drench the stucco, just a good wetting of the entire newly stuccoed surface. Doing this will help the curing process and make the stucco more durable and long lasting, which will result in less cracking and damaging over time.
