Sizzeling Hot Market! Really?

As a Realtor, I will honestly say that so many Realtors have jumped ship to save face or actually make some money. I have watched so many Agents riding the highs of the early 2000's fall flat when the market turned tide in 07.

I ask why, Are we unable to to change our way of doing business? Why is it so hard for Agents to work with Investors and Banks? Lets face it, there are buyers out there but most are still waiting for prices to bottom out, Well at least here. Last year in the 2 counties I work throughout there were 10k homes sold. Sounds good, Not at all. Take into account there are 2000 Real Estate Agents here. Well thats 5 homes per agent. Does that affect me? Not at all!

I beleive that the Crash of 07 was a good thing and even a blessing. Home prices were going too high to sustain for long. What goes up must come down! Why a blessing you ask ? i get that alot!

1- Home prices are more in line with income ratios and banks are lending to only those who are capable of repaying! Well can't really say I believe that last part.

2- There is now an over abundance of oppertunities for investors to capitalize on.  Today there are so many different avenues to finance and flip homes then I have seen in a long time if not ever.

3- There are more people wanting to sell now than in a long time. The problem is getting the fence sitters moving.

Anyway, I am seeking advice of any sort from investors to give me an insight on how to take my business to the next level. I want to buy and sell for myself and for other investors alike. I found that buying a home and doing waht it needed to make it apealing to a buyer and then getting it sold is amazing to say the least. The money helps the motivation some too.

Your advice, comments, insight and help would be a great help!
