There are a lot of boastful gurus out there who offer access to their exclusive secret auction and data sources and lists. These gurus want to charge you $19.99 per month and are very anxious to get their hands on your money. The real problem is that you don't know who to believe or where to locate information. This is the information the gurus hate for me to tell.

Many gurus have very nice and expensive ad campaigns with catch phrases, flashy websites with banner ads and big claims. There are always new and improved sites and some offer you exclusive opportunity to sit in a thousand dollar seminar. One of which I just saw recently boasted of their 4 hours of instruction for $2,500 with limitless access to their auction lists. Access is not always the same as free. They are offering access to auction lists for free but to view reports and gather data on specific properties it typically requires a per report payment. Most of the time it also requires additional subscription fees for access to the opportunity to purchase their sales data and lists.
                                                  
As example, one of these sites was offering free auction lists but to view specific property data and to access a single counties auction list the payment required was $150.00. Well wait a second, I have already paid the $19.99 which allowed me access to 5 free lists. To gather the data within one of those lists was another $150.00, great another guru money making black hole. I easily calculated that it would cost me approximately $2,000 per month to gather the data I get for free from county sites.
