• Clean clothes dryer exhaust.
• Inspect roofing for loose, missing, or damaged shingles and leaks.
• Replace the batteries in carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
• Have your air-conditioning system serviced.
• Power-wash windows and siding.
• Replace or repair caulking and weather stripping around doors and windows.
• Inspect showers, sinks, and bath caulking for deterioration.
