Sheriff Tom Dart of Cook County Suspends Foreclosure Evictions

Sheriff Tom Dart of Cook County has suspended foreclosure evictions once more because of defective documents. He is vying to be the forthcoming mayor of Chicago. His announcements banning his sheriffs to proceed with foreclosures once more hit the headlines within two years.

Dart said, “This is so outrageous and these poor families are being put through this day in and day out by people that don’t do their jobs. It’s so hard for me to stomach these people because this isn’t just their bike we’re taking away or their car. It’s their house”.
