Boise, Idaho: Market Statistics for December 2017

New home construction in the Treasure Valley has been booming. In December 2017, there were 317 more new homes for sale in Ada County than existing homes.

The question has come up..."Will this lead to another wave of overbuilding like we saw in the mid-2000s?" The answer is no. According to the Boise Regional Realtors, "today's new construction inventory levels are much more in line with buyer demand for new homes, which has increased with the Boise region's population growth."
