Offering to help seasoned investors to get started

I just wanted to say that as a new investor this game can be a little intimidating as well as hard to know where to start.  Recently I found a few connections here and there and it has really been a life changer and has helped me take it to the next level.

I found a general contractor who also fixes and flips houses and offered to help him in his business and in turn could I shadow him and learn the business.  At first I didn't ask any pay just one or two days a week when I'm off from my job I could spend my time doing whatever he needed me to do.  It's been great because now I've been doing everything from rehabbing on the job site to sitting at a closing to making phone calls and advertising his business online.

I truly believe that if you first put yourself out there and offer to help others grow and make money as a result you will too!

Now I am getting paid each day I come in because he saw value in what I can do for his business.
