How To Create Your Own Mastermind

Special thing I want to talk to you about is an action step that I want all of you to stop what you're doing or at least time block to your schedule today. I want you all to create your mastermind so as a provider of multifamily it's not something everybody does. Not to say everyone does fix and flipper, fix and flipping, but there are more fix and flippers than there are providers of multifamily so say you are buy-and-hold investor, but you have like one unit, two units, four units, maybe you have like 40 units scattered about in different states and you want to get into multifamily, or say that you are already in multifamily, but you just want to talk to people.

They say, that you become the six people you hang out with, so I want you to find six people in your network that you think would be interested and give them a call and ask them if they'd be interested for everyone like once a month maybe twice a month to get together with you and just talk, just get ideas out and across talk about different mentors that you're using, talk about different books that you've read, talk about ideas, talk about deals, I mean that's the easiest way to get your deal funded is to get with other investors and talk about their networks and see what they're doing, so get out there put yourself out there, I mean there's so many ways you can do this and creating your mastermind is just one way. Jason and I have created a mastermind that we do once a month and we just kind of hash it out with other investors across the nation, but you can do this in your backyard.

Invite other investors in your neighborhood out for coffee and just be like, I have this crazy idea, I want to get into multifamily, what do you guys think and that's sort of how Jason and I created our meetup, but meetup is sort of a large scale and you have people at different tiers and you know while meetups are awesome and we love our meetup, like having just a set group of six people that you know and who's to say, it stops there, you can grow this group of six and to your own meetup, but these start with this take six people out for coffee and just spit ball, talk about what you're doing to get into multifamily, talk about the steps, talk about where you are and talk about how maybe you've just had this grandiose idea that you wanted to pick up a hundred units this year, who knows, but start talking to people, get it out there, every amazing action starts with an idea, so have the idea and then take the action steps to get there.
