Building The Foundation

Wow. With so much information that you need and nearly 100% of everything being unknown, it can definitely be overwhelming. I don't look at that way, I am enjoying the start of this career. Building my foundation from step 1, I'm fully invested in educating myself by reading different books suggested on the bigger pockets podcast. Also listening to the podcast on a daily basis, whenever I have free time, while I'm at work or on the way somewhere. I have found myself to be a complete sponge, soaking up all this information, insight and opinions that I hear on the podcast and reading in books.

I'm not on the get rich quick trail by any means. I'm concentrating on starting the process the correct way, learning the different ways to get starting, finding my starting point and putting all of my free time and energy in accomplishing the first goal in this process.

Step1: Education.building a team of players that will be essential to what I'm going to accomplish. networking to find investors and active flippers.

I feel as though my best place to start is with wholesale for 2 reasons, one to gain capital to get my financial life in complete order. 2nd to be able to network with other investors, bring them great deals, build relationships and a reputation as a great wholesaler. So at the time that I do decide to make the next step and take on house flipping it wont be as hard to get funding because I've spent time building those relationships.

I have nothing but positive thoughts about how my career in real estate, I'm ready for the ups, downs, good and bad.
