February 2019 Massachusetts Housing Numbers

Hi everyone, lots of February housing data was released last week. For Mass closed sales, we have SFH up to median prices of $377,000 up from $350,000 2/2018. Closed transactions tallied 2,669, up from 2,393 for 2/2018. Case-Shiller index from March shows we are essentially flat in the Boston metro area.

The take away is that while other markets around the country are slowing, we seem to be ok in Massachusetts - median prices and transactions are rising.
