Hey Everyone- I am with Property Management company in Palm Beach County. We are looking for ways to get into contact with investors/ landlords. From anyone's experience, where has been the best place to get around these groups of people? Besides the normal chamber events, realtor offices etc. Thanks for the help in advance!

Beyond REIAs, which Drew already covered, think about where self-managing landlords show up when something goes wrong rather than where investors network.

Eviction and small claims dockets are public record in Florida. An owner filing pro se is self-managing by definition and usually having a rough month. A respectful letter offering a free consult lands very differently there than a pitch at a mixer.

Local landlord and apartment associations, including the regional affiliates of the Florida Apartment Association, run monthly meetings and are perpetually hungry for speakers. Teaching a short session on a new ordinance or on turnover math puts you in front of exactly your audience with borrowed credibility.

Facebook landlord groups for the county are full of DIY landlords asking questions. Answering consistently without pitching builds recognition, and inquiries tend to follow on their own.

Referral partners are underrated: property insurance agents, DSCR and hard money lenders, title companies, and investor-friendly agents all talk to landlords weekly and none of them compete with you. Three or four structured referral relationships beat most paid advertising.

Also consider absentee owner lists from the county property appraiser, filtered to out-of-county mailing addresses. Cheap to build, and that's the owner most likely to want management.
