Hi yall, I'm doing some research on tenant portal, property management software and wanted to get input from people who actually use it day-to-day, rather than just vendor marketing pages.
If you manage properties and use one of these platforms, I'd love to have a discussion
for example:
What's saved you the most time or hassle?
What's the most frustrating part of the backend side?
Any recurring tenant complaints about the portal that land on your desk?

Why are you researching this issue? What's your end goal here? I use a portal daily but I would want to know why you want to have a discussion about it.
Im a student at new mexico state university, this is for an assignment, the end goal is to get better understanding of using a tenant portal on an admin side,

Fascinating - I didn't know they had such classes at state universities. What class is it and what's the gist of the assignment?
Like i said im not selling anything, im a student at new mexico state university, this solely for a research assignment, i can easily get information on tenant experiences but the goal was to try and get a solid grasp on user experience on the admin side, i dont care about selling you anything, but thank you for the help!!! really insightful

I manage properties, but I don’t want to give you a made-up software review without knowing the specific platform you’re looking at. From the management side, the features that matter most are the ones that actually eliminate extra steps—online payments, maintenance requests with photos, documents in one place, and a clear communication history. The biggest test for me is whether tenants will actually use the portal consistently. If the team still has to chase information through calls, texts, and emails, the software hasn’t really solved much.
