Great timing on this one. Last winter I had a pipe burst in a vacant unit because the heat was set too low between tenants. Now I keep the thermostat at 55°F minimum, shut off and drain the exterior hose bibs, and have the furnace serviced every October. Has anyone had luck with smart leak sensors or Wi-Fi thermostats for monitoring vacant units remotely?
