@Sriram Kumar Bikkina My guess is that your friend may be trying to bring awareness to the fact that crawlspaces can typically create alot of problems particularly moisture intrusion, dampness, mold, etc. and can lead to moisture damage to framing components.

I agree with the concept, but she and I both find the management and intrusions along with the taxes and fees of BC to be overly burdensome and quite annoying, not to mention unnecessarily intrusive.

It’s common sense that something to check for in a property is whether or not it’s got foundation issues, and that much water intrusion would be a concern of foundation issues for me as someone who actually works on and has owned rentals for years.
