Am I "SOL" in terms of duplexes and multi-families with the kind of down payment I can afford right now?

Technology is currently in development for protecting line workers from such dangers, and also I believe that home-solar could potentially be used during these situations if the system is properly isolated from the grid (but if doing so, please check first with your local utility company).

I can't give you a technical reason why, I just feel like it's isolated from any new construction, train tracks run through in all directions, and there are fewer nice streets houses in the midst of the crap.There is a CREIA yahoo group you can join where people post deals all the time, I'd jump on that.

By the way, if you don't know who Charles Van Doren is (you might recognize the name somewhere in the back of your mind), he was the academic portrayed by Ralph Feinnes in the film QUIZSHOW about the 1950s gameshow scandal where they were giving Charles Van Doren the answers to the questions they asked him while he was in the isolation booth.

If you don't have a calculator or alternatives (or goals/criteria), I'd recommend starting with them first (and not rushing into a decision).There are millions of properties and investment alternatives and isolating your search to one is very limiting.  

I would isolate any receipts so they are easy to find.

probably to isolated and not much going on with those but it is interesting way to try to keep little villages from dying.

If you're an agent, you can isolate on the MLS towns, neighborhoods and zip codes and see for yourself the skyrocketing numbers for appreciation and median sales price, and the plummeting numbers of inventory and days on market.
