Be sure you have your tenants buy renters insurance.  

The insurance willingly PAID on that claim. 

If you can settle for actual cash value and insure to a number that works for you it can lower the cost.

There are insurance consultants that will an agency relationship with you and many landlords with 100 or more doors will hire one.

Each of the properties has a landlord policy in place, and the LLC is listed as the named insured on those policies (as far as what the agent says, but mail shows personal name).Since the rentals are titled under the LLC and the policies are commercial landlord policies, I’m assuming a commercial umbrella policy is the way to go.
