I would say that most of the information in that book is still relevant, but many of the numbers will be outdated.

Hello, I have purchased 4 different asset manager lists over the past two years, but three were ineffective with outdated information and many email bounce-backs or returned mail.The best list I found was at RealEstateTargetdotcom; I did a successful snail mail and email campaign, and picked up three new banks and an account with LPS.I also cross referenced names on the list to see who was attending or speaking at various REO conferences, and made efforts to meet asset managers in person.

I had it done by a drywall guy in the last house I bought because I hate the outdated look of popcorn ceilings and - in this particular house - there was some staining on the ceiling.

Quick answer - Yes, you can you purchase a tax lien from the current lien holder and then foreclose.Look at the IL tax lien foreclosure statutes for the specifics but here are the highlights (and I haven't reviewed the statutes in a while so these comments may be outdated).A real estate tax lien on improved property in Illinois has a 2 year redemption period for the owner of the property.

Just passed my NC real estate license exam, hopefully will pick up more knowledge on buying/selling down the road.I have been looking around on Zillow for awhile and i think their inventory data is usually a bit out dated.

Estimates are probably a bit outdated now, but consider it a starting point and maybe add 20-30% to the estimates.

Sure the site is a little out-dated in appearance but it is so user-friendly and although it isn't my highest producing lead source, I do tend to get very strong leads from there and no spam so far.
