Recently had a storm blow a transformer near a LTR of mine, now I have to replace the oven which was affected by the blowout(fire department showed up when tenant smelled burning wires) -Septic tank and Well water.

A lot has happened since starting, between material shortages in SWFL for a while, a massive hurricane, a period of power outage, damages to various parts of the city (and major damages to surrounding cities), high demand in labor/resources, a transformation in permitting systems, and a boom in construction in general. 

Elevator, Parking, handi cap access and electrical transformer had a big impact on the layout.

You also need to check with the utility companies and get cost estimates from them for availability, fees, hookup charges, transformer and power line/power pole locations or relocation requirements, water, sewer, gas, cable etcThis is just a quick high level overview of the process but will give you some things to think about and a good starting point.

Certainly we can expect some recovery, but all the free government handouts from COVID sparked a short-lived travel spree that seems to be over. 

I don’t know if your area is only good for vacationers or if you could transform it into an ongoing short/long term rent by the room property like to other people working at your employer.

It depends if you think it is worth it.This will mostt likely spark a debate about money mongering gurus and people that believe in coaching.Ultimately you need to do your due diligence and make that choice.P.S.
