My sister-in-law has found a house in their neighborhood that has been vacant for years, and lo and behold, the owner has passed away and the heirs are looking to sell.

NC has many licensing restrictions so many lenders won't touch the state or require the partnering LO or broker to be licenced there. 

Lo and behold, many of said states will require the foreign entity to disclose owners/members and such, negating your desire for secrecy.

But Lo and Behold, you will have state regulators and prosecutors, coming after you, painting you as a Devil incarnate to make some headlines and parade themselves as protectors of poor home owners, who are set up and guaranteed to lose their homes when they have no options to reinstate the loan a day before auction. 

The broker/LO misses something that gets caught late in the process and blows the loan up.
