How do I convert certificate to eventual ownership and time process. 

I've also been leading the charge on the Operating Agreement for our eventual LLC.

More details:--5bd, 2 full bath, 2 half bath converted into 5bd, 3 full bath, 1 half bath--1960s home, complete gut, open floor plan, new electric, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, baths, etc. completely new house: higher end upgrades with everything tile, custom built ins, etc.  

It could be an illegal duplex, meaning someone converted a single-family without permission and/or in violation of code.

Anyways, I currently have a full time W2 career job but eventually moving to full time in real estate and investing as well.

Now I thought it would be prudent to "convert" or change the LLC formation state to FL since I plan on staying here and the property is in Florida but I am being told by some lawyers that because the LLC is registered as a foreign entity I would have to create a new LLC with different name and transfer the real estate over.

The units are in an old home that was converted to rentals sometime ago. 

Lose money, gain market share, eventually profits will come... 

I will sprucing up one of the units (the one I will live in) and eventually get to the other unit but someone is already renting.
