I grew up in the Midwest and have always had family in real estate investing. I used to help my mom fix and flip back when I didn't understand what she was dong :) Moved to the NW in my early 20's, became a general contractor then a real estate broker in 2013. I've done everything from foundation to finish work, owned a small handful of investment properties and have now taken my show on the road to Maui. I've flipped one property (not well), owned 2 duplexes, sold one, rent out a former primary residence. Almost all purchases were with little or no money down. I've been licensed in WA state for almost 8 years, and in process of getting licensed in Hawai'i, but also looking for investments and other opportunities. Right now all options are on the table.
