I'm 52 years old and have been in law enforcement for the last 31 years. I will be eligible for retirement in 4 years and I would like to get into real estate investing. I'm also brand new to real estate investing. I have read Gary Keller's books; HOLD, FLIP, and Millionaire Real Estate Investor. Update: I'm now a license real estate agent, so I can help anyone with finding an investment property please let me know. I currently have eight rentals and can share my experience in obtaining these properties. In May of 2019 I retired from the Air Force Reserves with 26 years of service. Experience: 2016 Recently obtained my first SFH rental property and its currently leased out. 2017 Update: Got my second rental SFH and it too is currently leased out. 2018 Bought my third rental property SFH 2020 Bought two more SFH rental properties and now have five total. P.S. working through another off market-deal now (July 2020) If that works out then I will have six rental properties. The best part, I have assisted three other beginner investors buy their first property and two other veteran investors each buy a property at about $180,00.00 (combined) below list price. Purchased one lot with river frontage, planning on making it a glamping spot. Attended first ever BP Con 2022 in San Diego, CA. Attended BP Con 2023 in Orlando, FL Converted two LTR to MTR in 2023 and I am really enjoying this space. My plan is to master this strategy. Bought two HUD foreclosures in Mar 2024.
