One of the members wanted to bid on foreclosures, so I went along. During our lunch break from work, we'd go to the bank, pick up checks, and meet at the courthouse. After a few weeks of bidding, we got one! A small townhouse in Mililani. We painted it, replaced the appliances and shampooed the carpets. We put it on the market and it sold in 2 days. We made a $39,000 profit. I realized if I could do that 2 times in the next year, I could replace my income at work. So I quit my job and have been happily unemployed ever since! In our second deal, we grossed over $200,000 and there's been no looking back... Real Estate Goals: My team: Sharing the wealth - To develop my apprentices with hands-on experiences, so that they become savvy investors in their own right. Challenge them to new heights, while supporting them in their goals. To launch a new apprentice program and provide these few good men and women with the best hands-on training available anywhere to develop their REI skills and impact their lives forever. My Investing Company: To scale my company and build a 'Level 3' (owner independent) business. To process-engineer, systemize, and automate all of the processes in my company this year.
