My family and I live in Alexandria MN. We have two girls 3 yrs old and 3 months old. My wife and I both work full time jobs me in outside sales for a Plumbing heating and cooling distributor and my wife works for the local hospital in their billing office. I’ve always had an interest in real estate but never could find a way to jump in. With two girls and a wife who is a paraplegic (crazy independent strong women) I wanted to really look into the future to help support my family (help my girls with college if they choose that route, weddings, travel with them, etc) and make it possible for my wife to not have to work full time her entire life. (Winters in MN and a wheelchair suck) of course I want to live more freely with my girls as well. In sept of 2018 we bought our first duplex here in Alec. I fixed it up and filled it immediately. In Feb. of 2019 we bought our second duplex in Miltona, and now just this month April 2019 we closed on a 4 unit. We have been using an equity line for down payments and financing the other portion. Running out of our equity line and still have that drive to find more deals. It’s been fun, challenging, and rewarding so far. Hoping to continue ways to purchase these deals that I’m finding!!!
