I've been investing in real estate since February 2013. I currently run a personal finance website and wrote the book Cash Uncomplicated. I believe that gaining control of your personal finances is a huge component to investing in real estate. It's hard to start a successful real estate business without being in control of your own finances first. I joined Bigger Pockets to learn more about investing, and to add some of my own expertise. I'm specifically interested in long term buy and hold in San Diego, Ft. Worth, and OKC.
