EDIT: 6/9/2020 - Achieved the goal below last Tuesday (duplex in Fox Park, St. Louis). Took some work and had some luck (and problems), but I got it done. GOAL: ACTIVELY LOOKING TO PURCHASE MY FIRST PROPERTY IN THE ST. LOUIS AREA. Just moved back to the Midwest from Boston (a tough market for REI!). Haven’t been as active in recent months and finally feeling motivated again! Looking to buy multifamily properties in the St. Louis or KC market. Specifically, I’m searching for a 3- to 4-unit. I’m not new to the Midwest but I’m new to STL. Always looking to meet up with other investors in the area. My first goal is to understand this market so any STL specific knowledge is very welcome! Experience: I have a real estate degree and law degree but no experience professionally-speaking. Just a passion for real estate and analyzing deals!
